Manchester City go to London second in the league for Saturday’s lunchtime kick off, chasing a Chelsea team who seem unbeatable at times. City on the otherhand have got lucky a few times this season taking 3 points from games that they should have dropped points from. West Ham are together with Southampton the surprise of the Premier League so far, sitting in 4th place the Hammers have pulled off some amazing results and will be no pushovers when City visit on Saturday. West Ham embarrassed Liverpool here 3-1 in September and will be well up for this game.
City’s top goalscorer Aguero looks unplayable at times and has already notched 11 goals this early in the season. Aguero has the best mins-per-goal rate of any player in Barclays Premier League history at 108 mins. As expected Aguero is a poor 4/5 to score anytime, you can make you own mind up whether them odds are good enough to back.
West Ham have midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate, defender James Tomkins and striker Andy Carroll available again, but Carroll is not expected to return to the squad until next month. Frank Lampard and Samir Nasri both miss out for Manchester City.
I think Man City will nick this one but it won’t be easy and will be full of goals. Man City and over 3.5 Goals is a good 11/5 which seems the value bet of the day. West Ham and Man City have scored 15 and 18 goals respectively this season and conceded 11 and 8. City have just 2 clean sheets from 12 games this season excluding the game against Sheffield Wednesday. Goals seem to be guaranteed at Upton Park so get backing bets with goals included in them.
