Sky Bet move Gunners to head of Premier League winner market

Sky Bet have made Arsenal the favourite to land the Premier League title this season, even though they blew points at Anfield on Wednesday night. The Gunners conceded a late equaliser against Liverpool to tie 3-3 in one of the best games of the season, but with Manchester City being held to a 0-0 draw at home by Everton, the bookmaker considers Arsenal the most likely to win the league.

It’s almost turning out into a season where none of the top teams seem to want to grab a chance to really stamp authority on the race. Other bookmakers have gone with Man City at 11/8 for the title, but Sky Bet have stuck with the Gunners at 11/10.

Arsenal are now sat level on points with Leicester at the top of the league. The Foxes sprang a surprise by taking a 1-0 win at White Hart Lane over Spurs, who in turned missed a great opportunity to get themselves into the title mix with Arsenal and Man City dropping points. The Foxes are 12/1 to win the title with Bet365 while Spurs drifted badly to 20/1.

It’s a competitive title race, that’s for sure and the Top Four Market at Sky Bet is packed with interest too. Leicester have been trimmed back to 8/15 to make it, with Spurs a 4/6 shot to finish in the top four, leaving Liverpool out at 11/4 and Manchester United at 11/10 to book a UEFA Champions League spot next season.
