Spurs go to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in the early kick off to face a Manchester City side who have had a good start to the season. City who are 4/9 for the win at Bet365 boast just one loss so far this season when Stoke City came to town and managed to scrape a 1-0 victory.
Although City sit in second place in the table their home form is not as good as expected. Having played 3 games at home, City have only one victory, drawn once and of course lost once. Having scored 4 goals at home and conceded 3 a good bet would be, both teams to score as we all know how attacking both teams are. Agüero has already got 6 goals this season with Dzeko and Lampard both offering 4 goals. Man City are full of goals with goals potentially coming from every single player unlike Spurs who rely on certain players to get the ball in the net. Another decent bet would be Man city to score more then 2.5 goals.
Spurs as any Premier League fan knows are the unpredictable team in the league. Some days they can go out and beat a top team and other days they can get a good thumping by a poor team. On the opening day of the season they got thrashed 2-0 by a poor West Ham team but the next week they went out and beat Aston Villa 3-0. So far this season Spurs have faced two of the ‘big’ teams getting embarrassed 3-0 at home to Liverpool and grabbing a 1-1 draw away at Arsenal.
They have scored 9 and conceded 7 goals already this season. Chadli is their top scorer with 4 goals from midfield. Over 2.5 goals in this game could be a good bet with neither team likely to keep a clean sheet. Although I don’t think Spurs will win they could sneak one goal during the game which will not be enough for the win as I can see City getting a few.
