England’s Lionesses 14/1 for World Cup success

England’s Lionesses 14/1 for World Cup success

Well, the England women have impressed in their approach to the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Boss Mark Sampson has silenced a few critics with some masterful tactical tinkering and substitutions have made a huge impact in their progress to the quarter finals.

This is the furthest that the England Women have even been at a World Cup and now with a game against host nation Canada, who really hasn’t impressed anyone so far, to come, and with the draw having opened up for them, can the Lionesses take their chance and write some history?

England women are still huge underdogs, most bookmakers like Bet365 having only China Women longer priced than them to win the World Cup. But other bookmaker likes William Hill and Coral have cut England in 16/1 for World Cup 2015 success.

Naturally as a punter, take the long 20/1 odds still available at Bet365 before they catch up, as this is a great football betting offer.

England shouldn’t fear Canada too much, because the Canadians have looked really slow, unimaginative and unadventurous. With Australia having caused a huge upset by knockout in Brazil in the round of sixteen, England would meet either the Australians or Japan in the semi finals.

Huge chance for England Women, who are still a long way back of joint 2/1 favourites Germany Women and USA Women, but the Lionesses have been gaining momentum and with a favourable draw and good team spirit, may be worth an each way punt.
