Scotland have the chance to waltz their way through to the knockout stages of the Rugby World Cup 2015 as they head into their top-two clash with South Africa on Saturday. That will only happen though if they beat the Springboks.
It’s a huge game for the Scots after opening wins over Japan and the USA. Of course this is a much tougher test for the Scots to get through than the other opponents which they have faced so far. They don’t exactly boast a great record against South Africa either.
The two nations have met twenty five times before and the Scots have lost twenty of those games. They have also won just one of their last twelve games against South Africa. So the head to head form certainly isn’t on their side and they have only scored six points in total over their last two games against the Southern Hemisphere giants.
South Africa were stunned of course by Japan in their opener, but then showed very good control in beating Samoa to bounce back. Whoever wins this will probably win the group and the Scots hold a three point advantage going into the game.
You can take advantage of William Hill’s Try Again Betting Offer for Scotland v South Africa betting. If your first try scorer selection scores second in the game instead of first, then the bookmaker will still pay you out as a winner. This great rugby promotion applies to all games at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
