The Olympics are here and Team GB will be hoping to haul in the medals. They aren’t likely to match the massive tally that they pulled in four years ago on home soil, but with the likes of Andy Murray, Bradley Wiggins and Laura Trott around, there are still some great shots at bringing back some metal from Rio 2016.
Sky Bet have gone all patriotic with a big Olympics 2016 price boost. They are now offering a treble of Mo Farah (10,000m), Jessica Ennis-Hill and Greg Rutherford all to bring back Gold Medals at a price of 10/1, up from 7/4.
They all won Gold at London 2012, Rutherford winning the long jump with the shortest winning distance in this history of the Olympic Games. But the competition doesn’t look to be there at the moment to really challenge a man in form. Similarly, that is the case for Mo Farah who is looking to do the Gold Double in the 5,000m and 10,000m.
He is head and shoulders above the rest of the field in both disciplines and should have no trouble doing another double gold haul. Then you have Jessica Ennis-Hill who stormed her way to gold four years ago, pretty much wrapping up the deal on day one. Can the British athletic icon go for golf one more time?
