Sky Bet are currently offering 1/6 on Manchester City to get Raheem Sterling this summer.
Liverpool has already rejected two bids from City, £25m and £40m respectively. However, It has been reported that Liverpool are now holding out for £50m and online bookmaker Sky Bet are making Sterling odds on for City to get their man.
It has also been reported that Sterling is unsettled at Liverpool and is keen to move away from the Anfield club. Sterling’s contract expires in 2017 and current new contract talks between club and player have stalled.
It is believed that Sterling wants Champions League football and wants to move to a club that will be challenging for major honours next season.
The reason Liverpool is holding out for £50m is because 20% of the final transfer fee will go to Sterling’s old club QPR.
City are not the only club interested in Sterling, Man Utd have made an enquiry and are at 12/1. Real Madrid is at 7/1 and reports are also saying that Sterling is keen to move back to London. Heading the list of London clubs chasing Sterling signature is Chelsea at 8/1 and Arsenal are out at 10/1 with Sky Bet transfer Betting Offer specials.
