It is the final big tennis tournament of the calendar year on the WTA as the WTA Finals in Singapore get under way.
This is round-robin tournament in first phase as the top eight women from the regular season, those who have amassed the most points from the Grand Slams and select other tournaments, gets a shot at the title.
Serena Williams, who has won the tournament for the last three seasons has already pulled out with injury, which leaves young Romanian Simona Halep as the 5/2 favourite for this year’s title, with Wimbledon finalist Garbine Muguruza at 10/3 second favourite.
Those being the top seeds, they are put in separate groups and the other strong challengers are Maria Sharapova and Petra Kvitova at 11/2. Those are the only two in the field who have won the WTA Finals before. Making up the numbers are Agnieska Radwanska, Angelique Kerber, Lucie Safarova and Flavia Pennetta.
Plenty of good tennis action to come from Singapore starting on October 25th. There is betting offer insurance at Coral to snap up because if a fivefold or bigger acca from any pre-match or in-play tennis markets is let down by just the one leg, then the bookamer will give you a free bet back to the value of £25.
